A Linux user who had found that it's a good aim in the life to help people, and helps Ubuntu community when he can with translations, bug reports on new development versions and user support. My interests are biology, especially genetics, microbiology and immunology, bioinformatics, systems administration, new ideas and concepts in data processing and railroad transports.

I'm currently a Jammy user, after being a Focal and Jammy tester (After Dapper, Edgy, Feisty, Gutsy, Hardy, Intrepid, Jaunty, Karmic, Lucid, Maverick, Natty, Oneiric, Precise, Quantal, Raring, Saucy, Trusty, Utopic, Vivid, Wily, Xenial until now a quite a long list now ;)) on an Asus X200CA (a netbook), a laptop I built, a Dell XPS 13, an HP Probook and a quad core powered computer that I built, but I'm also a translator to French, and I'm ready to help for all I can do to improve Ubuntu or assist its users. I've been a user of Ubuntu since the 5.04 "Hoary Hedgehog" version, and after a short test of other distros (OpenSUSE, Fedora and Mandriva) I came back to the one I preferred and was working the best, Ubuntu. I became then a tester is less than a year, discovering my system by being involved with translations and bug reporting and triaging first, support then and lately packaging (I need continue to learn a lot with this, to become a MOTU if I can).

Moreover testing all the default applications of Ubuntu, I especially test packages and applications related to Liquidsoap, a framework for webradio streaming, and various things around home automation, LoRaWAN, transportation data (GTFS...). I also tested and maintained pcsc-lite package in Ubuntu Natty (with 3 different readers model), use some radio apps in Ubuntu (SDR related), and packaged/built latest fitbit related apps.
