A community force dedicated to the evangelism of Ubuntu.

Background: As Ubuntu members (and contributors), we understand Ubuntu's "five P's": Philosophy, Project, People, Platform, and Product.

We actively work to communicate the world of Ubuntu to others outside the project (especially journalists/media) in a way that makes things easy to understand and reduces the tendency on the non-Ubuntu-community to "get the story wrong" or to "spin" stories with a default negative bias. We are responsible for helping to ensure that we take advantage of opportunities and strategies to improve how we reach the non-Ubuntu crowd with facts. "Ubuntu is not just software."

This team consists primarily of non-Canonical community members. Canonical employees are also welcomed and encouraged to join if they are heavily involved in community-building activities.
